Borehole 04 – Pentecost Senior High School, Bremang
Providing clean water access to students and the surrounding community.
Pentecost Senior High School in the Bremang community became the fourth location in Ghana to benefit from WellsForAll’s mission to provide clean and reliable water access. This project was made possible through the support of the Hive ecosystem (hive.io), continuing our commitment to improving living conditions in communities where access to safe water remains a challenge. The borehole now serves both the school and the surrounding community, reducing the burden of searching for water and allowing students to focus on their education.
The commissioning ceremony took place on September 2, 2022, in collaboration with the leadership of Bremang and the administration of Pentecost Senior High School. The event brought together community leaders, students, and local authorities to celebrate the successful completion of the project. Students of the school performed cultural presentations to welcome guests and express their appreciation, making the inauguration both memorable and meaningful.
The ceremony concluded with the official ribbon cutting by school and community leaders, marking the borehole’s opening for public use. The school principal expressed heartfelt gratitude for the initiative and highlighted how access to clean water will positively impact student health and academic life. This project reflects WellsForAll’s continued commitment to delivering sustainable water solutions and empowering communities across Ghana.
